Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina
The mission of Boys and Girls Homes of NC is to create a true home- a place filled with faith, hope, encouragement and second chances where we help children and families heal from their past, discover their strengths and dream about their futures.
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs continues to be a supporter of the children at the Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina. The Partnership began in 1959. In addition to giving financially, they
regularly visit campus and host the children on fun outings during special holidays. The GFWC also plays a major role in the donation of items that are needed by the children on a daily basis. GFWC-NC is dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of the children at the Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina.

How You Can Help –
- Monetary Donations On-line at www.boysandgirlshomes.org/donate or by mail at PO Box 127, Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450
- Donating Tangible Goods (see the General and Soloman Assessment Center/Cottage needs list posted)
- Shop at the County Store Thrift Shop located at 201 Top Tobacco Rd.
- Provide opportunities for dinner out, movie night, waterpark visit, etc.
