GFWC-NC SPECIAL PROJECTS & PROGRAMS

Happy New Year to you and yours. We are excited for 2021!

We have spent the first six months of the administration working on the new CSP alignment, projects, reports, and awards. Our GFWC-NC website has much to offer under Community Service tab so be sure to check it out.

Each GFWC-NC Program has a page that is information specific. You will find the GFWC-NC Program Chairmen’s presentations, as well as resource organizations, handouts, and project tools like the project worksheet and program calendar. Here is how the Programs are organized:

2020-2022 Special Projects and Programs – GFWC-NC President’s Special Project, GFWC-NC Director of Junior Clubs Special Project: Safe Kids, Signature Program: Domestic and Sexual Violence Prevention and Awareness, Juniors Special Program: Advocates for Children, Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina and Federation Friday. Just click on the link under the icon and you will land on the page for each. You will find ideas, resources, and tools.

Community Service Programs – Arts & Culture, Civic Engagement & Outreach, Education & Libraries, ESO, Environment, and Health & Wellness.

Advancement Plans – Communications & Public Relations, Fundraising & Development, Leadership, Legislation & Public Policy, Membership and Women’s History & Resource Center (WHRC)

Also, the Program Zoom Meeting Videos have been uploaded for viewing on the GFWC-NC You Tube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjT5l0QhNzALAdZkoEQ-qYw?view_as=subscriber

Awards and Reports – In this section you will find the suggestion guide on where to report projects, fundamentals for awards and reporting, award submission tips, and Tab n’ Type versions of the CP&S reporting form and award submission forms. We have kept personal private information off our site as much as possible because there has been so much hacking. For this information you can refer to section 8 of the GFWC-NC Administration Book and the All-Awards Contact List available from Headquarters.

Remember that the CP&S reports and Award Entry forms are all due by midnight February 1st. This form has been simplified from years past, so we hope it is easier to pull together the statistics.

The information should be helpful too in planning your projects for 2021. If we can assist in any way, please feel free to contact us!
