A Message from the GFWC-NC Juniorette Chairman

This year has brought many unexpected challenges for us as GFWC-NC Clubwomen, and the Juniorettes are no exception. With many schools meeting virtually, Juniorettes are adapting and preparing for a year of online meetings and remote service projects. But, what better and more equipped group of women to face these unexpected challenges than the Juniorettes?! With their vibrant creativity, tech-savvy skills, and passion, I am confident Juniorettes will continue to make a significant difference in their communities despite what will be a unique year.

The formation of Juniorette clubs is vital to the future of GFWC and the continuation of volunteerism. If your club does not sponsor a Juniorette club, please consider doing so. We have materials that provide a step-by-by step guide to do this and I will be more than happy to meet with you. If your club already sponsors a Juniorette club, consider how your club can best support your local Juniorette club. It is important that North Carolina Woman’s clubs and Junior clubs maintain or re-establish a close relationship with their Juniorette clubs. Not only does this keep the Juniorettes connected to GFWC-NC and encourages them to continue as dues paying members of the Federation, it also instills in our young women the value of community service. Your commitment and dedication to our Juniorette clubs will make for a brighter future.

As always, please feel free to contact me with any Juniorette news, questions, or suggestions at hmwallace0730@gmail.com or ncjuniorettes@gmail.com.

In volunteer spirit,

Hannah Wallace
