Members who attended our GFWC-NC Summer Meeting at the Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum State Historic Site got the opportunity to be the FIRST to get their hands on our new merchandise and see our newest fundraisers! Here’s the top three in no particular order:
- GFWC-NC T-shirts – Those who ordered our new GFWC-NC t-shirts received theirs at the meeting and those who chose the shipping option will be receiving theirs very soon. They are super soft generously sized classic shaped Comfort t-shirts. We had so much demand for additional shirts, we have decided to make one more order. We will not be stocking these for sale later – if you want one, YOU MUST ORDER ONE! Orders are due by August 31st and the shirts will be mailed as soon as they are printed and prepared for shipping. Sizes Small to 4XL are available for $25 (which includes shipping). Shirts are available blue or yellow with a red imprint. Go ahead and get both so you won’t be sorry! - Quilted Sunflower wall hanging RAFFLE – One of our talented members quilted this beautiful sunflower wall hanging and we are raffling it off. Get your tickets for a chance to win this unique prize – $5 for one ticket OR $10 for three tickets. Ticket sales end on Election Day (November 3rd) and the drawing will take place on Facebook live on Veterans Day at 1 pm (November 11th). - Headbands of Hope – We were so excited to make our debut as a vendor for Headbands of Hope last Saturday. This is a woman owned North Carolina based company that makes all sorts of headbands and accessories. The most exciting part of this fundraiser is that for every headband sold, the company gives one to a child with a cancer or a serious illness. We sold a big chunk of our first order, but we look forward to sharing the remaining inventory with you so you can claim your favorites. We will make an additional order in the future, so if you see something you like on their website, let us know and we can put in an order for our favorite styles! Details coming soon.
