With so much information available at the beginning of an administration, we want to highlight some new & exciting awards from GFWC. For details, access the appropriate CSP or Advancement Plan in the GFWC Club Manual in the GFWC Membersuite.
SPECIAL ARTS AND CULTURE AWARD – A “President’s Prize” of $100 plus an award certificate will be given at the 2021 and 2022 GFWC Annual Convention to the club that best interprets the official GFWC holiday theme. The official theme for 2020 is “What a Wonderful World.” Clubs can interpret the theme in any way that fits a club-sponsored holiday event or project. To apply for the award, complete the President’s Prize Award Form and mail or email it to Arts and Culture Chairman by March 15.
SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP AWARD – An award certificate will be given at the 2022 GFWC Annual Convention to each state that federates one or more new clubs with GFWC during the 2020–2022 Administration, plus a financial award of $50 for each club that is federated. The award is based on information provided to GFWC via the New Clubs Forms submitted between July 1, 2020, and February 15, 2022.
