The new GFWC website is a hit! Since its debut at the Board of Directors Meeting in San Antonio on September 8, the new and improved www.GFWC.org has reached more clubwomen than ever, provided greater access to information, and wowed visitors with a fresh look that strengthens the GFWC brand. Have you seen the new website yet? If not, get online NOW and don’t forget to sign up for the new mailing list to receive GFWC news!
Now that GFWC has unveiled the new face and updated functionality, the website will be a stronger primary communications tool. In addition to adding all the content that was previously on the website, the new site will include feature articles, online reporting, and a Member Center where you can find downloadable versions of all of GFWC’s most important documents. And don’t forget the new GFWC Marketplace, where you can shop for GFWC materials and merchandise.
Of course, the highlight of the new website is the features section, which will enable GFWC to highlight the best and brightest clubs and their activities with pictures, stories, and resources to help other clubs get in on the great ideas! This is your chance to be famous among your fellow clubwomen—send your photos and story ideas to GFWC’s webmaster at webmaster@gfwc.org, and you could end up on the front page of the fabulous new website!
Once you have seen the new website, send your feedback to webmaster@gfwc.org so GFWC can keep the new website moving forward! For questions about the GFWC website, please contact Communications & Public Relations Director Nikki Willoughby at nwilloughby@gfwc.org or 202/347.3168 ext. 149.
One more thing: don’t let the lack of a home computer or Internet access keep you offline; remember that GFWC has a long legacy of supporting public libraries, and most public libraries have free Internet access for patrons. So take a trip to your local library, log on to www.GFWC.org, and join your fellow clubwomen online!
